Synergy among people affiliated with Bilkent

 

Our primary goal is to build a sound network amongst the Bilkent Alumni, faculty, students, and personnel living in the USA. We aim to set the ground for a long lasting and firm alumni organization. In addition to establishing a network among alumni, we would like to share our experience and knowledge about the USA with current Bilkent University students.

 

Bridge between Bilkent University and Northern America

 

We know that the Bilkent University faculty can benefit from the network between our members and the professors who are interested in visiting the USA. We have a significant number of members who are pursuing Ph.D. or who already become professors at different universities. We can provide support to the Bilkent faculty in their studies, researches, and during their visits to the USA.

 

Intellectual face of Turkey

 

We – Bilkent Alumni – want to communicate the intellectual face of Turkish culture and Turkish scholars in Northern America while also sharing Bilkent’s values within both the Turkish and American society. We are proud of ourselves and willing to take any action to share our values. We are planning to organize seminars and information sessions to promote Bilkent faculty, alumni and students while enhancing their credibility in the Northern America.

 

Through our events and projects we would like to be a role model to several Turkish organizations and promote intellectual face of Turkey to Northern Americans. We believe that several other organizations are going to benefit from our approach and methodologies.
